Join us in honoring the spring equinox in Laguna Beach with a day-long retreat. A moment of balance when day and night are equal and the Earth shifts toward new growth. The equinox is an invitation to notice where we stand, and where we’re heading.

As spring begins, we’re reminded that growth starts quietly. Beneath the surface, seeds are already stirring. It will be a chance to reflect on what’s ready to emerge in you, and what you may need to release to create space for the season ahead.

Meet Your Facilitators

  • Allie Runkel

    LPCC, LICENSED PSYCHOTHERAPIST, PSYCHEDELIC-ASSISTED THERAPIST

    I bring a clinically grounded psychotherapeutic perspective as a licensed therapist, and I weave it together with years of training and apprenticing in sacred, contemplative, and ceremonial healing traditions. 

    My training through the CIIS CPTR program culminated in a capstone focused on the essential role of integration in sustained therapeutic change. Over time, I’ve come to see this as the most juicy, transformative layer of the journey — the place where insights ripen, patterns shift, and new ways of being take root.

  • VITORIA COTTISS

    AMFT, KETAMINE-ASSISTED THERAPY + BREATHWORK FACILITATOR

    I believe therapy is about uncovering the strengths and resilience already within you, exploring patterns that no longer serve, and creating space for deeper connection with yourself and others.

    I've worked in diverse settings including community clinics, grief camp, school, substance use treatment center, and a psychedelic therapy practice. These experiences allow me to meet clients with tenderness and nuance, especially when working through complexity, trauma, and transitions.

Archetypal patterns arise in group work: initiations, thresholds, descent and return, grief and renewal. When these are recognized (even implicitly), suffering becomes less personal and less isolating. What might feel pathological in isolation can be understood as part of a larger human pattern when held by community.

Community-based healing also challenges the modern assumption that growth happens alone. Meaning is not manufactured internally, it emerges relationally. In a culture that fragments, measures, and optimizes, groups offer something quietly radical: continuity, ritual, and belonging. Healing happens not because something is fixed, but because something is remembered: our inherent embeddedness in relationship.
